Chemo
Jenny1410,
Do you have a MacMillan Nurse? They can give dietary advice as it is important you eat and drink properly to aid your recovery.
Yes said small meals but lays in my belly and full of wind I have to stay sitting up all night thanks for the reply
In Sally Pacholok Could it Be B12, An Epidemic of Misdiagnosis, that I have it reads that Chemo and radiation treatments can cause a B12 Deficiency. One of the symptoms mentioned is taste buds and loss of taste.
My late Mum lost her taste buds over 2 years, plus other symptoms pointing to B12 Deficiency. Mum said her food didnt taste right, then lost her taste buds and said she could taste any foods unless they were very strong tasting like blue cheese. She was diagnosed this by a stand in Doctor.
Not saying you have B12 Deficiency, Jenny1410, because we all differ and it could be down to something else.
Just adding - B12Def. often gets over looked also there is a grey area in the blood ranges that gets over looked too. If having any bloods done ask for a printout of your bloods and their ranges for your own records.
Charcoal is good for wind - maybe ask with Clutters suggestions above.
