Morning all

Does anyone else have a hard time getting out of bed and getting going in the morning.

Always feel very tired and achey in the morning. Its the biggest hurdle of the day getting out of bed and getting to work!

Oh yeah, that’s Hashimoto’s alright, or maybe “just” Hypothyroidism in your case. Are you being treated for your symptoms?

Well, if you had a short period of jumping out of bed again that’s great — it means you Can be well again, longer term :-) And it gives Me hope too, thank you.

I feel like I’ve been hit by a bus and feel quite sick in the mornings with tummy ache so I’m with you on that.

I’ve recently lowered my t4 and increased T3 as per my drs advice and think that has something to do with it.

Have you changed anything lately?

I used to until I posted my results on here. I topped up my D3, b12 and co factors. It got worse for awhile but now I’m out the other side and am ache free! I exercise and take Epsom salts baths. I still take painkillers for arthritis in my hips but the muscle aches, tingly legs and fatigue have gone! I take 125mcg levo at night and eat nothing after 7pm.

Hello Dewberry1, yes I do have the same struggle particularly first thing in the mornings. I know however that my current treatment is not working for me. Perhaps you need a reassessment? For what it's worth, mornings are always the worst in my case for feeling like 'The Tin Man'.

Yeah. These are "bad hashis days". When I see my husband after work he can tell me whether or not I had a bad day by how long it took me to get out of bed after the alarm went off...

Not had a good day for 19 days now... ugh, it's a misery when the meds aren't right... We will all get there one day. What a shame it has to take so long, though.

Am taking treatment and undergoing some investigations. Feel like a turtle in the mornings. Used to up and doing stuff at 8am now I’m still in bed at 10!

yes! sometimes i really struggle just to get ready. want to lie back down after a shower! but lately this lasts well into the day, feel so sluggish and heavy! Have had diagnosis and meds a year, last two tests were "normal" and I have been mostly ok, but thought I was supposed to be bouncing off the walls by now?!
