My face is SO dry. I have been on levo for my hypothyroidism for 5 months. Am I being inpatient? Did your facial skin improve with time?

It's making me depressed so I hope it can get better

I have been on levo for a year and my skin/nails and hair continue to be dry. My nails are disintegrating. I too would be interested to know if anyone taking any thyroid meds has seen any improvement in these areas.

Same applies - start a post in your own name and ask advice on your most recent test results

How much Levothyroxine are you taking?

Can you post your most recent thyroid tests results

TSH, FT4 and FT3 plus thyroid antibodies

Also vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 results and ranges if you have them

Very common to be left on not enough Levothyroxine and still hypothyroid

My TSH i 1,3 now and my Ft4 is 20 with 22 being the highest. So my numbers are good :( maybe too good actually, I'm having bouts of loose stools so I might be overmedicated.. It sucks..

My skin hurts so much and so does my stomach.

My ferritin is a little low but supplements upset my stomach even more.. Vitamin D is a little low too..

Thank you for answering
