Hi all, I feel like Iβm so doom and gloom at the moment I wanted to share that Iβve actually managed to lose 2.5kg since the 22nd ππππ

Well done!
Wow !
Wow, how did you manage to lose weight?
What is cofactors? The digestive enzymes are they the good bacteria for the gut (strong ones)?
Cofactors are the essentials you need to take alongside vitamin D3 so magnesium citrate, zinc my body struggles to absorb normally but these seem to help so do. the digestive enzymes with bertain HCL. It helps increase low stomach acid Iβm not an expert but Other users (much more knowledgable than me recommended them on one of my earlier threads Just went to Holland and Barrett
Marz responded to me about cofactors:
Please please look at the Guidelines for your area. You are severely LOW and your level needs to be around 100. What does your GP say ? Your GP should know what to do - you need loading doses and a GOOD maintenance dose. Also there are co-factors like Magnesium and VitK2-MK7 - which your Doc will not have a clue about.
Check out SeasideSusie by clicking onto her name in BLUE and then click onto the heading REPLIES so you can read the excellent advice she has given to others. Far more than your GP will know ....
I have taken all these but didn't feel any benefit just felt like I was rattling with pills βΉοΈ do you need to take separate ones or is there one pill not tried HCL though might give it a go thanks
Heloise posted drugs about HCL:
What an awful trial of events. I would guess your vitamin D level is close to bottom. You should get prescriptions for massive doses. Your other hormones don't work well without it.
If you can't metabolize iron (usually due to low stomach acid) you really have the same problem with the supplements as well. Take Betain HCL with meals. You are probably desperately malnourished as well. Can you start juicing vegetables and add amino acids?
You didn't post the ranges with your blood tests but you can check how high or low on your report and get an explanation for some of them here:
drkaslow.com/html/blood_cel...
Haven't had vit d3 bloods done for a while, few years ago it was low and he gave me strong dose for 2 weeks my my magnesium and zinc doc says are always normal!?
I am on auto immune Paleo diet but I've not been very good over Xmas, although I have stayed away from my
worst culprits, yeast, cows milk, and gluten
If your vitamin D was low two weeks of a strong dose is nowhere near enough to get rid of deficiency. Mine is 4000ui per day for 8 weeks. Most people are given loading doses for at least that level for 8-10 weeks. It might be wise to get rechecked. You would be amazed how Vitamin d deficits can massively effect you.
Ohhh ok I will get them checked again thanks
If your GP will not test - then can you do it through City Assays - go to their website. Think it is about 28 GBP's.
The above link will take you to all things VitD
I have read a lot about vitamin d just not sure why my doc or endo don't realise I need to be checked and get boosters why haven't either of them said this???
The Vit D tests are more expensive... also From what Iβve been told on here doctors arenβt always trained enough in this particular area ie nutrition etc
And tap water
Another positive - gynae said Iβd have a 4/6 week wait for scan and a letter has arrived today to say scan is this Tuesday coming πππΌ
What's the scan for?
I am aneamic n have heavy periods so they are deciding between an ablation or hysterectomy and need to do a scan to figure it out.
Ablation? Not heard of that one?
If fibroids are the cause - try to resist a hysterectomy as they will shrink after menopause π Have you read Christiane Northrup's book - Womens Bodies Womens Wisdom ?
