Folate

My folate level is 19.98 range 2.91 - 50

My active b12 is 236 range 25 -165

I know my b12 is over range but I don't know about my folate level.

I'm supplementing both

Folate is recommended to be at least half way through it's range, so that would be 26.5 plus with that range. You should continue supplementing and maybe reduce to a maintenance dose (take a few days a week rather than every day) when recommended level is reached. Is it a B Complex you are using to raise folate? If B12 is high, it's fine for folate to be high also.

I'm taking methylfolate because I have the MTHFR gene. I will continue to suppliment and see what my next blood test has to offer. Thanks.

If you aren't symptomatic of B12/folate deficiency then there isn't really anything to worry about in the above results.

There is a significant overlap between symptoms of B12/folate deficiency and those of thyroid conditions so unravelling the two can be difficult.
