Hello. Other endocrine tests are normal. TSH: 0.20 T4 (F): 0.71 T3 (F): 2.50. How could this be. What do we need to understand? The doctor gave 50 mg of EUTHYROX Tablet every day. TSH: 1.23 T4: 0.99 T3: 2.77 after one month. Do I need to continue using it? If I'm not using it. What could be my disease. Thank you.

I cannot see well enough to read the range for free T4, but your free T3 is too low in range as well - would be better around 3.5, so you will probably need a dose increase after you have been on 50mcg for 6 weeks. It is usual for TSH to drop when you are taking thyroxine. It is the Free T3 and free T4 which are important. If you are hypothyroid and do not take your medication, you can have heart problems and dementia and, in the end, go into a coma and die (after some years). As your TSH was never very high, but your Free T4 and Free T3 were low, you could have central hypothyroidism, which is caused by a problem with the pituitary or hypothalamus. Did you have symptoms of hypothyroidism before starting on EUTHYROX?

Sounds like central/secondary hypothyroidism - low/low normal TSH, low Free T4 low free T3, so yes, you do need to keep taking the medication
