Anyone have a pressure like feeling in temple? Not painful just uncomfortable...

Hi lovely people.. so something weird, since all this kicked off last year when i was changed to teva brand of levo suffered herrendously,, levels still not back stable after a year, tried 3 different brands and now on mercury pharma that is best of a bad bunch!... so anyway i have this weird pressure like feeling in my left temple like someone is pushing there thumb on it, its not painful but weird uncomfortable... anyone have this and whats the cause??

Ha e you any results you can post with their ranges? Also have you any for Vit D, B12, folate and ferritin? Plus any others you may have had done recently. Have you any other problems like high BP, or any other conditions. Something may shed a light on what is happening if we know more about your medication etc.

Hi, I used to have this problem, but it resolved on optimal thyroid meds. 100 levo/20 T3. Looking back I know I had an undiagnosed thyroid problem for 20 years, because of this pressure sensation on my temple.

As silverfox says, get your blood pressure (BP) checked. The wrong dose of thyroid meds can cause high BP and pains in the head due to high BP may lead to a stroke. You might want to try natural desiccated thyroid (NDT). That is what I had to do when I found myself in similar circumstances as you are right now. I was perfectly stable on a brand of Levo from Forrest Pharma who then got bought out by another company who changed the formula. That didn't work for me and I tried brand after brand obeying my (stupid) Endo's advice. I finally started to research the whole thing myself and realized that stupid Endo had wasted two years of my life and was now almost killing me. I decided to go on NDT - and it worked wonderfully.
