So, your FT3 is under-range. And, that's why you can't lose weight! But, it's rather strange that your FT3 is under-range, given that you take 20 mcg T3. How do you take it? On an empty stomach, one hour before eating or drinking anything except water? Do you take any other medications/supplements with it?
I was just raised to 20 mcg two weeks ago. I take early in the am with water just with my levo
So my t3 free needs to be at the higher part of the range to help with weight loss?
If you would like greygoose to respond you need to alert her - as I have done ! Yes your FT3 needs to be higher !
It needs to be in the higher part of the range, period. But your FT4 is also under-range and your TSH is much too high for someone on your dose. Which is why I asked about how you take it.
It's difficult to believe that you take it every day, with those results - or are they the results from when you were diagnosed? If so, they're not much good to us. We need to see the results on 125 mcg levo and 20 mcg T3.
Also, when you take your test, do you leave 24 hour between the last dose of levo and the blood draw; and 12 hours between the last dose of T3 and the blood draw?
