Diagnosed with Hashimoto’s in 2003

Hi to all!

I was diagnosed back in 2003, with Hashimoto’s disease and adrenal fatigue, in addition, I had a full hysterectomy in 2001. After not feeling well on synthetic hormones/thyroid, I began a very long journey in finding a doctor to help me feel better. After seeing 2 Endocrinologist, that helped zero, and my very nice GYN doctor who believed me, I fondly found a doctor in 2002 and helped getting me on compounded T3 and later this last year, adding T4. In 2007, I was also diagnosed with Fibromyalgia/then in 2012 with Interstitial Cystitis. It’s been hell at times! My biggest complaints still today: Brain fog, exhaustion, bladder pressure, hair thinning, dry skin, mood swing (Yes, I’m 50, and going through the change, ugh!) and difficult time sleeping.

I hope I can help anyone learn from my experience of all the above, learn here too of what has worked and what hadn’t on thyroid, hormones, and Adenal exhaustion.

Thank you, and look forward to gaining any knowledge, to feeling better! 🙂
