Yes resting is the key and am doing this, off work still and my daughter is still very demanding at 12

Its hard when you have 2 immune diseases and hyper keeping well.

Glad you are tickey boo now with chest infection.😊take care

A hoarse voice can be due to inflammation of the vocal chords or a vocal nodule.

When you get vocal strain, try whispering, so you rest your vocal chords.

There are some new medicated honey lozenges made by comvita which aids

the healing of the throat. The medicated honey is good for dry excema lesions, and with wound healing helping scar tissue. It cleans wound and eats up necrotic tissue.

There's nothing worse than losing your voice with laryngitis - but it usually goes away with antibiotics if needed. Hope the swelling in the neck is going down.

Vocal rest as it is called is very good for husbands - and children who can get away with anything!

Cold sores are virus linked zovirax is the cream which may help and with shingles I think.

Sure if you take 1000mg of vitamin c at least for your immune disorders, and adrenals, it will help.

Depletion of vitamin B might be helped with sachets of orovite seven - which is a combination of b and c vitamins mixed in a non acid drink. You are run down. Certain drugs deplete vitamins so supplements help. Had the cramp in the legs the other night - exciting -I had the tonic without the gin..poor thing!

I have Hashi and have been having cold sores quite often. I found l-lysine more successful in speeding up healing process of cold sores than any other product. It's best to start taking high doses (I take 5-6g) as soon as you start feeling that tingly sensation on your lip and then reduce by half after few days. Some people reported having recurrence reduced singlificantly while taking maintanace dose of 1g every day. I haven't personally tested that myself though.

It's an amino acid. I think you can buy it as a gel as well but dose is much smaller

Wow so many people have suggested this, im goin to get some today- i take it that the tablets are best and not the gel.😊

Yes tablets best, ask in a health shop, and take what is the recommended dose on the bottle. Some people have then only needed to use it as soon as they feel the tingle before the cold sore fully breaks out, so as and when.

Every best wish G.
