This info is from the UK foreign office's website:
"You can take medicines into India as long as you carry the prescription with you. Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic substances are prohibited. For further information, contact the High Commission of India in London (link to contact info)."
Could you not empty a bottle of vitamin pills, preferably pills looking a lot like those you're currently taking, and carry them in that?
I am thinking about doing the same thing. I am going to Morocco in December and take Thyroid-S from Thailand (so no prescription). I did, however, find vitamin pills about the same colour and size, and am seriously contemplating putting my Thyroid-S pills in that bottle.

As t3 and ndt are neither "narcotic or psychotropic" then yes you are fine. India generally is swimming in medications of all sorts - strong anti-biotics can be bought otc for instance, so they don't generally have a problem with them. Also no problem with pork products.
