IS "BIG PHARMA" FOOLING YOU ON "INDEPENDENT" HEALTH WEBSITES?

We always thought that independent health websites were a great way to seek out unbiased information that might help us manage our health conditions better. BUT in a recent article published by "What Doctor's Don't Tell You" on 26th October 2017 it is claimed:

"Many of the world's major medical websites are now owned directly—or indirectly—by the pharmaceutical industry, although this is hidden from consumers searching for independent health advice."

Another thing not mentioned is many doctors especially if they are also researchers get their funding from pharmaceutical companies and even large food corps. So even if the website isn't owned by one the person writing the article can be biased in a particular way. They don't actually have to state this on the articles, websites or in any of their Youtube videos unless the videos are for certain universities or conferences.

There are several doctors who are researchers who have openly pointed out if they wanted some of their studies funded on anything including diet and hydration all they had to do is keep the likes of pharma and large food corp happy by stating their product doesn't cause any issues.

I'm not really surprised about the websites mentioned ~ I'd not really considered them 'go to' sites for independent 'health answers'.

That's why I was delighted to find HU where responses are given by fellow sufferers (Survivors!) ~ who share their experience, strength and hard gained knowledge so freely, and helpfully, ❤️️😊 and for which I am much indebted to them, for giving me back some "hope"!
