Hi, I wondered if any of you very knowledgeable people would be able to tell me if these results are ok. They are in range but don't know if they could be better
9am 9.36 (6-21)
12 noon 2.12 (1.5-7.6)
4pm 1.8 (0-5.9)
10pm <1.5 (0-1.99)
They were done through medichecks who just said they were completely normal so I thought I'd ask those who might actually know...
Many thanks in advance for any help and advice you can give me, I'm so damn tired all the time and the GP is as much use as a chocolate teapot

squirl9462 Don't Medichecks show the results on a scale as well as figures? They're so much easier to interpret when you can see the scale, you can see if it follows the normal 'curve'.
What about DHEA, that's needed too along with cortisol when testing adrenals.
I'm not good at interpreting just the figures, but the first three look lowish. Cortisol should be highest in the morning, reducing during the day, lowest in the evening. The 10pm result is ridiculous, saying <1.5 in a range of 0-1.99 tells you nothing at all. You need to know the number, 0 is vastly different from 1.49 with that scale and your result could be anywhere in between those numbers. If it's 0.995 or more then that's over half way through it's range and it would actually be higher in it's range than any of the others.
Thanks for replying, they didn't put them on a scale, just the figures. Perhaps I should try again with a different company.
Didn't know about the DHEA so will have to investigate that too. One day I might find out what's making me so tired. Have just got some new thyroid results through too so will post them when I get home from work. They're showing a just over range TSH but it won't be high enough for the NHS to do anything.
I'll see if I can find a scale on my computer when I get home but can't see one on my phone

Genova you have to order with ThyroidUK named as your 'practioner', results sent to TUK who then send them on to you (as long as you have sent them your email address) thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/testin...
