I've always felt like I had a weak immune system even before being diagnosed with Hashi's - always getting colds and picking up any viruses that are going around.
I've read that autoimmune disease is a sign that your immune system is actually stronger than average so it starts attacking healthy tissue, so you should be less susceptible to viruses. But I've also read that autoimmune sufferers are more likely to suffer with these things as their immune systems are busy attacking the wrong things.
Anyone have any better insight into this?
Or just from personal experience, do people with hashi's or other autoimmune things feel like they suffer more or less than normal with colds?
