Am I on the right dose of levo?

I was hyperthyroid and had RAI in April 17', this has made me go hypothyroid and in June I was put on 50mg of levothyroxine. My latest blood results are TSH less than 0.005 and T4 12.6. Should I still be on 50mg Levo?

Can you post the lab ref range for T4 12.6 (the figures in brackets after the result)?

TSH 0.005 is still very suppressed and sometimes doesn't recover so your GP needs to judge adequate dosing by T4 result and your symptoms.

Thank you the range is 6.3-14. I'm very tired but sadly not sleeping well, also struggling with weight increase of 2st

FT4 12.6 indicates you are adequately dosed. I think it is unlikely your GP will agree to increase dose as 12.6 is close to top of range but you can ask as some patients do need FT4 over range to deliver sufficient FT3.
