CT scan

I need to have a ct scan which involves the injection of iodine. I also have hashimotos. Does any of our community have any suggestions as to how I can reduce any side effects from the iodine. I don’t know if it will affect me at all.

Cancelling the CT scan is a much greater risk .

I've had several contrast ct scans and not had any problems.
