Getting acurate blood tests

I am a newbie. I am getting my first set of blood test to check thyroid function after 6 weeks on Levothyroxine (25mg). I know to have them done early in the morning to be more accurate. Should I have already taken my morning dose or wait till after the test? Any advice for getting the most accurate results much appreciated.

Take your levo dose after the blood draw. Fast for 12 hours before blood draw, no tea or coffee before the blood draw, water is OK!
