Hi I have this multinodular toxic goitre which presented as hyperactive thyroid, Its over 1 year now. Initially, I was very tired, had to be on 2 Neo-Mercazoles a day and a heart medication for rapid heartbeat. Now the thyroid making hormone has stabilised and I'm only on one Neo- Mercazole per day. How are you doing?

I’ve been on 5mg carbimazole for 2 years now which has stabilised the thyriod but I have permanent AF so on heart meds.

The endo’s are pushing for me to have radio iodine treatment which will send me hypo so I’m very reluctant

Have they suggested this to you?
