Oestrogen and levothyroxine

Does anyone know if levo or T3 contain or stimulate oestrogen? As I’ve said before in this site I am experiencing breast tenderness since commencing levo. This worries me but not my GP.

Levothyroxine and T3 do not contain oestrogen. Try Googling "Does Levothyroxine stimulate oestrogen" for more information.

I found very little on Google always my first port of call for info. Perhaps I was looking in the wrong place. However I posted in case someone knew of research etc which may not easily appear in mainstream searches

I experienced estrogen dominance from higher doses of T3/NDT . If you are dosing with T3 or NDT you should be aware that it can cause estrogen dominance by some who is sensitive as myself . You might want to off set it with progesterone if you must have that amount of T3 or NDT to feel up to par . You will need to consult with your Dr who over sees you .
