Headaches

Hi,

Around 2.5 weeks ago my dose of levo has been increased and although I start noticing to see small positive improvements in some of my symptoms I still suffer from headaches since the increase.

I do know and remember each time my dose was being increased I was getting those headaches (however I don't really remember how long it took for them to go away eventually), change of the brand of levo never helped me either.

The level of pain differ each day and if I can't handle it anymore I need to use quite high amounts of paracetamol (think my body became resistant to small amounts). I tend not to use any other painkillers as I don't find them as effective as paracetamol. Now I find myself taking it every single day and I don't really like that.

Any advise would be helpful.

I am sorry you are getting headaches. This is just a suggestion.

1 hour before you take your next dose of levothyroxine, take 1 antihistamine tablet and if you don't have a headache you are sensitive to the fillers/binders in it. You therefore should request a prescription for another make of levothyroxine.

Thank you for that.

I'll be getting a new script in a few days either way as old batch is almost finished so will try your suggestion and see what's the outcome.
