Should I be taking propranolol before going to a heart echo and before and during wearing a heart monitor?

You need to ask the people doing the monitoring.

Are they looking at how you are doing whilst on propranolol? Or how you would do if you stopped taking it?

If I were not a member here, with years of experience of reading posts saying things like that and worse, I'd be amazed. As it is, I say "No surprise there.". They expect you to somehow know what to do without telling you.

Completely agree, ring and ask. If possible, ask for their printed instructions. What? They don't have any! That is borderline malpractice.

Also if they say you should stop ask how long the gap should be between last dose and the test.
