Anyone??
Hi,
Any reason youre asking in particular?
I'm not sure this reply will be helpful, but I think I am worse on Mercury Levothyroxine.
I've been on it a year since I moved house and changed GP and pharmacy.
Ive been investigated for every possible reason for hairloss and feeling generally a bit crap. These symptoms started around the time I changed brand of T4. I wad diagnosed hypothyroid in 2007 and had been relatively stable.
My current theory is the Mercury T4 doesn't suit me. I'm now on day 5 of Actavis brand, and hoping I will feel a difference soon.
After finding high antibodies and high RT3,and high FT4 (with mid range TSH) I've added 12.5mcg T3 and reduced my T4 to 125mcg from 150mcg. Just had bloods done last week so awaiting results.
It's a delicate balance, I hope you find something that suits you soon.

Yes im asking as same as u i have had stable levels and really no symptoms for 9 years then i was changed to teva new formula last oct and went into a severe depressive anxious state with various other symptoms couldnt eat couldnt sleep... my levels were checked and my ft4 was high in range but tsh also high... i stopped levo altogether for 3 weeks and felt great.. then reluctantly tried the actavis brand iv been on it 7 months and its been herendous im having brain zaps contant mood changes every 5 minutes diareah lost over a stone... so now in giving mercurypharma a trial its only day 3...
Im also under the endo which i will seeing again in oct so if things are still the same then im gonna ask for the liquid t4 and also a bit of t3 as i dont think i convert very well as my ft4 has to be way over range for my ft3 to be high..
