Post opo symptoms

Hi I had a partial thyroidectomy last Monday and have been coughing a lot since then. Is this normal. Has anyone else had this.

I had a partial and didn't cough a lot but I do remember I couldn't yawn. Check symptoms with the doc as you are bound to be apprehensive about what's normal. They could do a basic check and reassure you or the doc could get in touch with your endo to find out.

I have had hemithyroidectomy in April followed by full thyroidectomy in August and coughed quite a lot after first op. In the end I had developed oral thrush after antibiotics and being generally run down and G.P. Thought cough could have been partially due to this. Things much better now!
