No your vitamin B12 and vitamin D are too low

How much vitamin D are you taking?

What about B12? Injections or sublingual lozenges? Are you also taking good vitamin B complex as well

Have you considered gluten intolerance as affecting your gut absorption

Or low stomach acid

Lots of posts on here about how to improve with Apple cider vinegar or Betaine HCL

I actually have the vitamin D prescribed by my GP it's 800iu (I think). Vitamin B12 I take a high strength Vitamin B Complex my doctor said all of my test results were within normal range

Within range is not the same as optimal and you need optimal. 800iu is okay as maintenance dose when you have good levels but you don't, and won't unless you increase dosage, for example 5000-10000 for a few weeks then 1000 for a few weeks then retest and adjust accordingly. 100-150 is optimal for d. Under 500 for b12 can cause permanent neurological damage according to Pernicious anaemia society and nearer 1000 ia best You need high dose b12 And multi b to 'balance' the bs. SeasideSusie advice on supplements is the best and most detailed, saying she knows her stuff is an understatement. You say you take a b complex? Did you stop it for a couple of days before test? With some labs the biotin can cause false low TSH and false high Ft3 and Ft4, it certainly did with my test results.

With thyroid issues we need higher dose than 800iu. We see hundreds like you who have had only 800iu prescribed, and it does virtually nothing to increase dose. Can actually make it drop further

Get regular private testing twice a year until you work out what you need to keep level up at least above 70 - around 100 nmol/L is better

Yes absolutely as fibrolinda says, if taking vitamin B complex (which is great) this can falsely affect test results

So if you are taking vitamin B complex, or any supplements containing biotin, remember to stop these 3-5 days before any blood tests, as biotin can falsely affect test results

your B12 is very low, if you have been supplementing. You probably need to add B12 sublingual lozenges as well (2-4 1000mcg lozenges daily)

There is no Ferritin result?????

I saw posts from Spellweaver over on the PAS forum and suggested she posted here. At that time she did not have the ranges. I just thought they looked low and I also considered Central Hypothyroidism when everything is low - but perhaps the FT4 and FT3 have to be below range for that - not sure. I was hoping those that do would come along :-) Perhaps Clutter could assist ....

The above link takes you to an earlier discussion about Central/Secondary Hypothyroidism here on the Forum ....

You look undermedicated as Both FT4 and FT3 are low in range. Not looked at others as difficult to read on phone but have MediChecks made any comments?

The only thing they said was it all looked normal. I do know though that the VitD is low despite what they say

I'm not on medication as my doctor is also of the opinion I'm within normal range
