I’ve just had my blood results back from Medicheck. They are very similar to the results I had last September. At the time I asked my GP to reduce my thyroxine as recommended which she did to 50 mcgs but I was exhausted after a week so we put it up again. I’m very confused about what to do now!

How are you feeling?
Not good! I don't have a lot of energy and when I do it feels like nervous energy. I'm quite anxious. I have some brain fog but it's not all the time. My sleep is good but I take magnesium at night. My eyes are quite puffy and they are dry. I sometimes get mild palpations. I don't gain weight and never have. My hair isn't particularly dry or falling out. I take my thyroxine in the mornings at 7.30 and if I don't eat within an hour of taking it, I feel like I could faint and I'm starving hungry.
If they were my results I wouldn't be keen to reduce my dose. However, have you checked vitamin levels and if so, what were they? Your symptoms could be deficiencies, dry eyes could be mybomian gland dysfunction so you need to get an apt with an optician in the first instance. There are simple treatments to help with dry eyes. To me, your symptoms sound more like B vitamins deficiency but you won't know without the blood tests and I'm not a doctor so you need further evaluation.
Thanks, I do take B Complex but stopped them 7 days before the blood test. I might get my levels checked again though
Good, but worth checking levels again and ask GP to check vitamin D and ferritin at the same time. Did you have low B12 or folate previously?

You are a poor converter of T4 to T3 to need FT4 over range to produce a FT3 level just 39.19% through it's range.
If your nutrient levels are optimal you may benefit from the addition of T3 to a slightly lower dose of Levo.
As you have Hashi's, if you ever feel overmedicated I wouldn't ask your GP to reduce your prescription for Levo dose, just slightly reduce it yourself until the "hyper" episode is over. If your prescription is reduced, you may find it difficult to get the higher dose reinstated when you need it.
No chance of a little bit of T3 as a trial? 5mcg day and reduce levo by 25 per day ?
These could be my results from June. I had medichecks as well but also had rt3 done, with very high rt3 and very low ft3:rt3 ratio. Medichecks have temp stopped doing rt3, but may be worthwhile seeing if you can get done, or wait til they restart.
I would agree with seaside (above comment) in that I have reduced my dose myself and will monitor, as trying to get levo raised again by GP is a hard slog.
