Your FT3 is very low which indicates you are undermedicated. Ask you GP for a dose increase.

Other symptoms are indicative of low nutrient and vitamin levels. Have you had blood tests for B12, folate, vitamin D and ferritin?

Yes, do, put them above with your thyroid results and keep them all together. You can edit your post via the drop down arrow at the bottom right of your post.

When I read a post like yours along with the results/ranges my heart drops.

Are doctors unaware that if we are hypo all results/ranges have to be optimal - not somewhere in the range. It would certainly seem so.

Your TSH is too high, should be 1 or lower, some need it suppressed.

Both FT3 and FT4 are too low and need to be towards the upper part of the ranges.

Usual doses of levothyroxine are between 100 to 200 mcg, some need more to bring TSH to below 1.

When you have a blood test for thyroid hormones it should be at the very earliest possible, fasting (you can drink water) and allow 24 hours gap between last dose of levo and test and take afterwards. This helps keep our TSH at is highest as that seems to be the only number that they refer too. They know no clinical symptoms: seem to be unaware that taking replacement hormones should relieve all of our clinical symptoms.

Thanks shaws I will ask for an increase. I am worried about my symptoms of sweats and tremor though and I am thinking I am over medicated but if my thyroid levels are low it can't be that.

Not what you're looking for?
