Borderline what? You don't give us much information! So little that reallyfedup thinks you've just been diagnosed. But your dose is being reduced to 100, isn't it. Just read your last thread. And, one think you haven't told us is : do you have Hashi's. Because I think those last results of FT4 33, was nothing to do with your dose, it was a Hashi's flare it's hard to imagine that 125 mcg levo would take anyone's FT4 up that high! Obviously, your doctor knows nothing about Hashi's flares! I wouldn't expect him to. And he probably hasn't even bothered to test your antibodies. But, I think you can take it that that's what it was. And, in any intelligent medical person, that number would have aroused suspicion, but...

So, when did you have your last blood test? Has your GP redo a test since the FT4 33? Refuse to accept a reduction in dose without another blood test. Because that high level will go down by itself, and you will be hypo again, and needing your 125 mcg. Let's have all the details, please! It makes answering questions so much easier! :)

Last blood test was 24 august and the one before that 3 months.

Never seen a consultant, have asked but was told I didn't need to see one.

No, and you're possibly better off not seeing one! But, what were the results of your last two blood tests. Just saying 'borderline' tells us nothing. :)

Well, you could ring the surgery and ask them to print them off for you. If you live in the UK, it is your legal right to have a copy under the 1998 Data Protection Act. :)
