Xenieb Not much to say without seeing your results. Can you post them with their reference ranges please.

Do you have high antibodies - Hashimoto's? If so this could be a Hashi's hyper swing.

Are those results from before you reduced your dose?

Yes I have high antibodies and the results were from before dose was reduced I take full responsibility for the dose reduction and I want to get well again

Xenieb - have you researched into Hashi's and learned all about it. If not here are some links which will help. Most importantly, adopting a strict gluten free diet can help reduce antibodies. Gluten contains gliadin (a protein) which is thought to trigger autoimmune attacks so eliminating gluten can help reduce these attacks. You don't need to be gluten sensitive or have Coeliac disease for a gluten free diet to help.

Supplementing with selenium l-selenomethionine 200mcg daily can also help reduce the antibodies, as can keeping TSH suppressed.

The antibody attacks cause fluctuations in symptoms and test results. When the antibodies attack, the dying cells dump a load of thyroid hormone into the blood and this can cause TSH to become suppressed and Free T4 and Free T3 to be very high or over range. You may get symptoms of being overmedicated (hyper type symptoms) to go along with these results that look as though you are over medicated. The hyper swings are temporary, and eventually things go back to normal. Test results settle back down and hypo symptoms may return. Thyroid meds should then be adjusted again, increased until you are stable again.

You really need to know your current results and you need to gradually increase your Levo back up to a dose where your symptoms abate and you feel well again.

I tried to explain to endo that I have Hashimotos and he barked out that having antibodies makes no difference to results I had blood tests done last week but I don't know what they are

Well, bark back at him. They are totally ignorant about Hashimoto's - they call it autoimmune thyroiditis.

You have links, read up, learn, help yourself.

And when having blood tests carried out, always ask what they are for. For any medical procedure, they must have your informed consent. If they don't tell you what the blood tests are for then they don't have your informed consent.

Xenieb - these confirm autoimmune thyroid disease, aka Hashimoto's. Information in post above.

Xenieb - some of your symptoms are indicative of low nutrient levels. Have you had the following tested, if so please post results with reference ranges and say if anything has been prescribed

Vit D

B12

Folate

Ferritin (and any iron panel/full blood count results)
