Hi I'm new but would like some advice! Had a blood test with medi checks for t3 came back 3.7 is that ok ? Many thanks

Depends on the range. But, with medichecks, I rather doubt it.

If it's the usual Medichecks range of 3.1-6.8 then it's very low. What about the other results, FT4, TSH?

Only got t3 will try and get blood test results from my G P not very accommodating !!! Thanks for replying !!

If you're looking to see whether you need to add T3 to Levo, then FT4 and FT3 must be done at the same time to see how you're converting and how doses should be titrated if you do need T3. T3 done with Medichecks and other results from GP test wont tell you what you need to know.

Just been to the docs this is what they gave me TSH normal .0.6 mu/L 0.27-4.20mu/L I'm sorry to be daft but I have know idea what these mean !! My thyroxine was dropped from 125 to 75 I felt so ill I have increased it to 100 myself I'm 70 and have low thyroid since 39 yrs old I also have CFS !! Don't know if these results are useful Sorry for going on but my Gp is not helpful !
