Hi. I am new to the forum, just received my medication today. I have been reading a lot about taking the medication in the evening but can't find out how you make sure you have an empty stomach. Do you fast for a set period before taking it Can you drink during this time?

Thanks

Not fasting as such. Levo should be taken one hour before food or two hours after, with a glass of water only, not tea, coffee, milk, hot chocolate, etc nor for an hour after. If you want to take it in the evening, it's usually suggested to leave 3 hours after your evening meal as most people have their biggest meal of the day then.

If you regularly get up in the middle of the night for the loo, that's an ideal time to take it!
