Most people feel better when their TSH is 1.0 or even a little lower but please post the laboratory ranges as we can't be sure without seeing those, labs vary and I don't know if you're in the UK or not. I presume you are taking levothyroxine? There is plenty of room for a dose increase if the range is what we expect in the UK.

You should also have your vitamin levels tested as many people with thryoid conditions are deficient. Test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12.

What are the ranges Fauzia123

In your post yesterday, when you were asking about the correct range of T3 and T4 the reply was

Ranges vary from lab to lab, so you have to look at your result in relation to the range from the lab that carried out your test.

And the tests need to be Free T3 (FT3) and Free T4 (FT4), total T3 (TT3) and total T4 (TT4) don't tell us anything useful.

If you post your FT3 and FT4 with their respective reference ranges, members can help.

You were also asked

Your TSH is quite high. What is the reference range?

'blood reports are within range', doesn't mean anything unless we can see the range so you need to post them here and then we can help. Have you got your blood test results? If so type them here with the laboratory ranges. If not then get hold of them. They may vary considerably in a Pakistani laboratory from a UK one.

lf you are not taking levothyroxine then a dose increase does not apply. Your doctor may be right if your bloods are within range but you need to have thyroid antibodies tested and then post the results here.

Fauzia - no-one can comment on your results unless you post the reference ranges, as previously explained. They should look something like these (which are made up numbers)

TSH - 2.5 (0.2-4.2)

FT4 - 15 (12-22)

FT3 4.5 (3.1-6.8)

Please can you post in proper words - some of us are too old to understand text speak or use screen readers which don't understand it.
