I was diagnosed with hashimotos. Then another doc said I wasn't. Of five, two said I wasn't; three said I am. Please offer your thoughts? Thank you so much. I have below TPO/Tg antibodies from January, March and June of this year. Please, What is your opinion based on the following TPO/Tg antibody counts (same lab and range, for all)
January
TPOab 2 (0-34);
Tgab <1.0 (0.0 - 0.9)
March
TPOab 81
Tgab <1
June
TPOab 15
Tgab <1
Thank you for your time.

Your March results say you do have it. There was no need to retest in June. Once you've had a high result, that's it. You have it. Antibodies fluctuate, so the two low results mean nothing.
Thank u.... I thought so; but the doc that did the 2 result, didn't know aboht the 81. So if one is low, it's advised to redo it when there are symptoms, it seems. Wow...Greygoose, you're so helpful!! Thank you....
My initial physician said " I see people with an 800, 900 TPO. 80-something isn't high." I felt defeated,but this website helped me learn to trust my instinct and not ignore these18 symptoms...
