For maximum absorption Levothyroxine should be taken with water 1 hour before, or 2 hours after, food and drink, 2 hours away from other medication and supplements, and 4 hours away from calcium, iron, vitamin D supplements, magnesium and oestrogen.

Just received lab results: TSH .57 and THYROXINE, FREE 1.20 and FREE T3 1.57. I take 10,000 mcg Biotin daily and believe that could cause incorrect thyroid test results. I have ALL of the symptoms related to hypothyroid including high cholesterol. The doctor took me off Biotin and will retest thyroid in a month. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!
