I got diagnosed with a goider and 8-9 nodules about 10 yrs ago, after a my 2 bed sinus surgery, my ENT found a lump on my thyroid. I have been to 4 endroconologrist's and I finally found one hopefully to help me. I run low, so I have trouble loosing weight, aches pains. Tired, sleep problems etc.. not on any meds yet, they say my thyroid runs fine, but I'm tired all the time. Now I take fish oil and Brazil's nuts 3 a day, I sleep much better.

Welcome to our forum and am sorry you have symptoms.
I believe you need a blood test for thyroid hormones. It has to be the very earliest appointment, fasting (you can drink water) and if you were taking levothyroxine or any other medicine for thyroid hormone replacement you would have to allow a 24 hour gap between the last dose and test and take afterwards.
Ask GP to test TSH, T4, T3, Free T4, Free T3 and thyroid antibodies. Vitamin B12, Vit D, iron, ferritin and folate. GP or labs may not do the T3 or the Frees if your TSH is 'normal' but ask anyway and say you've been advised by the NHS Choices for information/advice to request these tests. If lab wont do all you can get the others privately. We have recommended labs.
