Here are my blood test results. I don't understand any of it, so any help interpreting the numbers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. :)

Hi - could you type in the TSH number from the top please with its range as number has been cut off on post.

Sorry about that. The top line reads: ! Serum TSH level - (DJL) - Satisfactory - No Action 0.34 my/L 0.35 - 5.50mu/L

I forgot to mention that I'm on 125mcg Thyroxine. Thanks

Look at" labtests online" to learn about the many tests.TSH is ok but as usual no FT4 nor FT3 which you need.

Only the TSH test is relevant here.

You also need to know your FT4 and FT3 as well as TPO and TG Thyroid antibodies. If antibodies are high this is autoimmune thyroid disease also called Hashimoto's

Important to also know levels of vitamin D, folate, B12 and ferritin.

If GP unhelpful then you can get private tests done via Medichecks Thyroid plus ultra vitamin or Blue Horizon Thyroid plus eleven are the most popular choice. DIY finger prick test or option to pay extra for private blood draw

All thyroid tests should be done as early as possible in morning and fasting and don't take Levo in the 24 hours prior to test, delay and take straight after.

If you have Hashimoto's then highly likely vitamins are low and you need to read up about gluten connection

I paid to see an endocrinologist as my doctor said blood test was fine. Felt a fool because endo said the same as doctor. In fact he went further by saying that under normal circumstances he would reduce my thyroxine but as I have so many symptoms he will leave it as it is. Feeling very frustrated as I have wasted my money and got nowhere.

Get full thyroid & vitamin tests and then put a new post on here with results

If you read members profiles you will see many similar stories

I was told for over 20 years my results were fine .... Hashimoto's - just take Levo, but actually had gluten intolerance, low vitamin D and magnesium and DIO2 gene variation

Would not have made any progress without this support group
