i'm taking fluoxetine and I've had my levothyroxine increased to 75 i'm now getting the shakes and my muscles are letting me know they are there is this normal

I am assuming your doctor has diagnosed you as 'depressed' thus prescribed fluoxetine.

He should have tested your FT4 and FT3 to see if these are at an optimum, if not that could be the reason you did not feel well. They are so smart to diagnose something which is a clinical symptom of hypothyroidism, which can be relieved with either a higher dose of levo or the addition of T3.

Physchiatrists can prescribe t3 for their depressed patients. We hypo are usually low in T3 as we may not convert levothyroxine to sufficient.

I think you;;d have to wean yourself off fluoxetine and ask GP to request FT4 and FT3.

Ant-d's are not helpful if we are hypo as Hidden suggests.
