Can anyone recommend a doctor or clinic or something where I can get professional advice about changing from Levo to NDT? I live in Kent but could travel to London. Is there a 'guru' out there that is worth consulting? I am so confused about how to move forward on medication as so many of you seem so knowledgable and I dont know where to start on this journey???

If you email louise.roberts@thyroiduk.org.uk who has a list of sympathetic doctors.
I knew absolutely nothing about hypothyrodism but, then again, neither did any doctors or specialists I consulted and been given prescriptions and even an op for all the wrong reasons. Whatever they diagnosed I didn't have. Even discharged from the A&E after an overnight stay and discharged as 'probably viral with high cholesterol (cholesterol should have been a red flag) when my TSH was 100.
Whatever dose of levo you take, it is just a straight switchover from one to the other, i.e. if you were on 100 levo, 1 grain of NDT is equivalent approx. We only appear knowledgeable because we've been forced to read, learn and Thyroiduk.org.uk (no forum then) led me to good health and it was a first-aider who suggested I had 'thyroid' because he saw a swollen gland and all the medical personell didn't. They didn't return any money these wasted consultations and diagnoses.
I can give you some links which might be helpful to you and I will do so later.
