Thyroid nodules are usually asymptomatic and don't usually impact thyroid levels.
TSH 0.35 rules out primary hypothyroidism but doesn't exclude central hypothyroidism. It may be worth you ordering a private thyroid test to check TSH, FT4, FT3, thyroid antibodies, ferritin, vitamin D, B12 and folate to rule out hypothyroidism and vitamin/mineral deficiencies.
It may be worth visiting an optician to have your eyesight checked as a twitch can be caused by eyestrain.
Thanks clutter. I have private blood tests booked for tomorrow. TBH, I'm almost scared they will come back normal. How will I get better, if there is nothing wrong with me??
I wear glasses and have regular eye checks. No recent changes in eye activities! So, I don't think it's eye strain
Do the blood test early in the morning when TSH is highest and fast (water only) as TSH drops after eating and drinking.
As one who has had an assortment of growths of my thyroid gland (now removed) I can say from 1st hand experience that these abnormalities DO cause an assortment of symptoms, although I had so little knowledge of what actually was happening to me at those times that it is impossible for me to say whether they were hyPER or hyPO symptoms. I simply took my doctors' word for it that my blood results were "normal" and I was therefore euthyroid. I can say, however, that often I simply felt like death warmed up a bit, unable to walk more than few steps at the worst either from sheer fatigue or worse. How wrong I was to believe what they told me over the years!
