Hi all, I turned 50 last January and gave up,full time work as job too, stressful and low energy exhaustion due to,menopause and hypothyroidism causing anxiety. I am now wantinting to go temping, but very anxious and low confidence partly caused by my illness, I have been taking Levo for over a year now, started on 50'and now alternating between 75 and 100mgm, I feel, absolutely rubbish in the mornings and litterally cant get going until about 10.30 am, I am taking sage supplements for hot sweats. Can anybody else relate to the feelings of enhaustion and desperation, searching to get a grip,on life, please help

HypoJos, it sounds like you could be undermedicated and maybe have low nutrient levels. What are your latest thyroid results, and have you had vitamins and minerals tested?

You need to get your results and post them on here, with ranges. Just in range isn't good enough you need to be optimal and you also need to get

B12

Folate

Ferritin

Vitamin d

Checked and post results, Do you have Hashimoto?

Hi hypojos

Yeah I can relate to you, I've been unwell since mid 40s, menopause b12 def and now underactive thyroid, my job not really stressful but you need good energy which I've struggled with, I'm off sick now as gone down the pan, 😒Everything wears me out, feel the same as you literally can't get out of bed till at least 10 am, awake on and off during the night, aches all over shoulders neck and upper back, right arm constantly hurts, tingling in feet and fingers most of the time, some days it really gets me down I get very tearful, I'm sick of the constant pull on my body, I have hot sweats but then feel cold, I'm on 75 mg Levo at the min, but don't feel better since being on it, Saturday I had another new symptom which was really bad stomach pain, I was in bed most of Saturday, I think it helps talking about it on here and realising you are not on your own, the confidence thing I can relate to as well I don't want to go to my local shop anymore coz of the exhaustion, has your b12 been tested as this can cause a lot of symptoms we are getting, hope you get your confidence and wellness back soon, but don't despair there is always people here.
