Under active thyroid

Hi all! I have had an under active thyroid since i was 35 i am now 62. I have a blood test once a year and i am told it is normal. Well! I don't feel normal do you?

Welcome to the forum. 'Normal' doesn't mean 'optimal' as many of us know from experience. Most GPs have very little understanding of thyroid problems.

Do you have printouts of recent blood tests? Post them on here and people will be able to help you. You need the results with ranges (numbers in brackets). Ask your surgery. They have to give them to you if you ask.

I've got a test coming up - why has GP surgery not given me this advice?!

Sadly, GP's know very little about good treatment for thyroid disorders...
