Hi could anyone please have a look at my results below and tell me if there is any possibility of hypothyroidism? I am very symptomatic and have been for a few years. I'm getting frustrated with the GP process. I have had greatly fluctuating results this past few years ranging from normal to my GP telling my the results were so low she would normally medicate immediately but as they were normal a few months previously she wouldn't medicate until they were tested again. On repeat testing the reading was normal and I was told no action required yet the symptoms are still there. They are quite distressing and I need to do Something. Would nature thyroid be worth trying? Any advice would be welcome. Thanks

Joasav,
I would show your thyroid results and ranges to your GP. TSH 1.9 is low-normal but FT4 10.94 is below range and together this indicates central hypothyroidism due to pituitary or hypothalmic dysfunction. NICE CKS recommends urgent referral to an endocrinologist if secondary hypothyroidism is suspected. Show your GP the NICE CKS because many GPs only consider primary hypothyroidism where TSH is high.
