I had a short synacthen cortisol test & at the end it was 870 nmol/L.Can anyone tell me if thats normal ?

I think members will need to see the cortisol range to be able to tell you whether or not 870 is normal.

What was your result to start with? It has to have more than doubled to be considered normal.

It was 426 to start with so it has doubled.thanks for your reply.hospital letters never explain anything!
