Hi, yes I have seen her very recently, I have sent a private message....
Hi there, I am under active, too. Having heard she had a good reputation, I asked my GP to request a referral to see Dr Annice Mukherjee - apparently they only allow a request for a patient to be referred to the Consultant AND their team. As she is so popular, it took around 9 months to get an appointment. I did get a couple of earlier ones but they cancelled them and rearranged. When I finally got my appointment it was not with Dr Mukherjee, but a member of her team. The Sister I saw, although very pleasant, was quite firmly in the group of healthcare professionals who stick rigidly to Levothyroxine as their preferred treatment and spout all the scare tactics about NDT being of unreliable potent, T3 causing spikes and suppressed TSH causing heart problems etc. etc. The symptoms I experience ward pretty much ignored or suggested to be due to other things such as menopause or chronic fatigue.
I saw her privately, was great. Without her I wouldn't be pregnant right now. Can discuss more by pm
My friend saw her a few years ago & she said she was brilliant - she was overactive.
Thank you
She is a kind & caring doctor, however very traditional in her approach with focus on TSH & T4 and blood results. I saw her privately.
Yes I've seen her also ! Privately and she helped me with my thyroid and menopausal problems .... she is excellent she even wrote to my gp prescribing T3 however that didn't last very long as my health authority will not prescribe anymore so I buy it privately 👍🏼
