This is probably not an accepted thing amongst the thyroid community but I have been messing around with my dosage and feeling better! I increased my levo from the 75mcg prescribed by my endo over the last two months. The 75 mcg was prescribed in November 2016. I have felt better; more energy, though that is hard to determine as I have ME, but better than before the increase. However I have been taking a dose of 12.5 mcg every other night before bedtime. The next day I have felt so much better. However when I have taken 100 mcg in one dose I have had diarrhoea the next day. Is this is a case of 'it is working for me'? I am reticent to get a GP to do bloods as I fear he will make me reduce the levo back to where I was gaining weight and feeling depressed, 50 mcg; I am DID anyway and the thyroid exaggerated the depressive side of the condition. I am going to bluff it out 'til November when I see my Andrologist.

Whatever gets you through the night, as they say. If it works for you, stick with it. What were your labs last November, when the dose was put up to 75 mcg?
I have no test results to post I am afraid. As per normal the GP held his hand over the result sheets.
Then he's breaking the law! You are entitled to a copy or your results under the 1998 Data Protection Act.

It was n't clear in my post. I am taking 87.5 mcg under my own steam. Taking 100 mcg upsets me.

You can get online access to your medical records. Just need to take ID (passport or Driving L) to reception, fill in form & also ask for access to blood test results.
