my recent test show at tsh- 7,77 ,(02-4) at ft4 of 8 (10 -24) this is three months after RAi I am now suffering from shoulder and joint pain i take vid d , I have stopped my carb now but i have to wait for next blood test before they consider treatment co confused

Wendypartridge,

TSH 7.77 and FT4 8 means you are either over medicated on Carbimazole or hypothyroid. Doctors will be unable to tell whether RAI has made you hypothyroid until they see thyroid levels after you've stopped taking Carbimazole.

thank you clutter, I was taking 5mgs a day , I have been suffering with pain in my shoulds and legs for a week I was wondering is this to do with been underactive?

Yes, the pain is almost certainly due to being under active. Your thyroid levels may improve now you've stopped taking Carbimazole and the pain will subside as thyroid levels recover.
