Hi, I am Teresa, I have an under active thyroid. I am always tired, get depressed easily, have trouble sleeping and always battling the weight. It's nice to see if am not alone.

Hi welcome to the forum. Have you any bloods you can post? Please include the ranges as they differ from lab to lab then we may be able to suggest things to make you feel better

Have you been told to take your meds with a full glass of water two hours after any food or in an empty stomach if taking first thing then no food or drink other than water for an hour? Otherwise you may not be abdorbibg the full amount t you need. You need to be retested every 6 weeks until you are on the right dose for you. I know 6 weeks seems a long time but it takes that length of time to get the full dose into your system

If you look on the Thyroid Uk site there is a lot of other good info to help you shout out if anything you don't understand. We have all been where you are and know lots to learn.

Hi thanks for reply. I am due a blood test this month so will ask for my results as I have no idea what they are. I am currently on 150mg of levo and have been stable for a few months now apparently according to docs but never actually given results. Yes I do take tablets with water and hour before food. It's so Frustrating!
