You were over medicated to have T4 33.1 which is considerably over range and that will be why you are having palpitations, tremors and chest pain. You should have your thyroid rechecked 6 weeks after reducing dose to 100mcg as you may need a further dose reduction.
Hi doggy, I agree with Clutter. It's hard to say whether you should stop taking ANY Levo for a day or more. Is that what you take? How long were you on 125? If you were on that dose for more than two weeks you may need to take a few days off. The half life of T4 is two weeks (approximately) and if you are good at math you might be able to calculate how long it will take to dissipate that extra 25 mcgs. I don't think I would take another dose while I had those symptoms. I'm not a doctor of course but I have had to skip some dosing. It isn't as serious as being over medicated.
