Please can somebody have a look at these results. Dr refuses to test T3 and can't see T4 on there. Is everything else ok? Feeling so tired right now. Went up from 50 to 75mcg of levothyroxine about 6 weeks ago. Dr then upped it to 100 mcg but had to stop yesterday as feeling really hyper.

Hi. When you say 'had to stop yesterday' do you mean you dropped back to 75mcg? You didn't stop alltogether did you?

Could you post the last 2 results and ranges in brackets and your TSH. I can't see them clearly on the copy, sorry. X

No I haven't stopped completely. I took 50 today and then 75 from today.

Corrected serum calcium 2.29 (2.2-2.6)

Thyroid peroxide antibody <33

TPO interpretation negative.

Can't see anything untoward in your results but I would say your B12 is very low. Under 500 can start to cause neurological changes even though in this country we say it's ok!! In Japan they start supplementing at 500

Ideally you want it over 600

I'd start supplementing in liquid or powdered form as more absorbable.

I use now foods (Amazon) but there's lots of others.

You should start to be less tired, brain fogged etc...

If you want a proper thyroid panel done look at bluehorizonmedicals

Thyroid plus eleven, twelve or Fifteen are all good comprehensive tests.x

Thanks for all the info. I'll get some b12 this week. Is my ferritin level ok? It's 46 (10-290). So confusing especially when you're told it's all normal!

Yes the NHS don't like to test or will say levels are ok when they're low as it's expensive to treat and there's sooo many of us that are too low. Still not horrendously expensive for us to treat ourselves!

Ferritin is in the realms of normal but I had read that levels should be over 80 to stop hairloss. You might want to do some more research into this or ask admin. X
