Heart skipping a beat?

Have been diagnosed hashis for a year now and doing quite well on 50mcg and most of my symptoms have settled down. One thing that keeps recurring though is a feeling of missed heartbeats. I have mentioned on more than one occasion to my GP who brushed the issue aside and doesn't seem concerned, but for me this is worrying. Does this happen to anyone else / is it a normal symptom of this condition?

You're probably under-medicated. 50 mcg is only a starter dose. Do you have a copy of your last labs?

Hi GG, here are my last results from over a month ago:

TSH - 2.01 (0.55-4.78) last time it was 1.54

T4 - 14 (10-25) last time it was 15

Your TSH is too high for someone on thyroid hormone replacement. And your FT4 is much too low. You are under-medicated.

I get this but I'm not sure if it's consistent. I notice it when my heart is pounding and quite clearly there is a periodic missed beat. I haven't noticed it in a few weeks which coincidentally marks how long I have been on my increased dose of NDT.
