Pregnant 2nd trimester, still lowTSH but normal T3 & T4, Positive TRab
Renriz,
TSH is very suppressed but you haven't included the FT4 and FT3 lab ref ranges so I can't tell whether they are high in range or not.
Renriz,
Welcome to our forum and congratulations on your pregnancy.
TSH needs to be kept low to enable a good thyroid hormone supply to baby as is critical to normal development of the baby’s brain and nervous system.
Positive TRAb indicate thyroid receptor antibodies. Do you have any previous thyroid issue history ? ?
If you post any further test results complete with ranges (numbers in brackets) members will comment.

Oh, and no history of rhyroid issues known until only now when i got pregnant with my second child.
If your trab test is positive you have 'graves ' , My daughter is like you pregnancy kicks it all off , I hope you are prepared for after the birth of your baby , (you may be lucky and not go into hyper my daughter did it was horrible for her ,4 weeks after the birth of her daughter she went hyper after treatment she was fine but for 6 months she suffered , good luck xx
TRab is the test they do to see if you have antibodies
for Graves disease .
I see, and how was her baby? I do hope everything will be fine for my baby and i can deal with this thyroid crisis later on after delivery soon... Thanks for sharing...
